CCV raises $200m

The Beijing-based venture capital firm has held a final close on its debut US dollar-denominated fund.

China Creation Ventures held a final close on CCV Fund I at $200 million.

The fund was backed by institutional investors and family foundations, according to the firm.

Capital from the fund will be invested in early-stage companies in telecommunication, media and technology sectors in China.

Including its debut RMB fund closed in April 2017, CCV has now raised nearly CNY3 billion ($440 million; €376 million) for its funds.
