CD&R to buy HD Supply's Waterworks business for $2.5 bln

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has agreed to buy the Waterworks business unit of HD Supply Holding Inc for $2.5 billion. Waterworks, of St. Louis, is a U.S. distributor of industrial and construction products used to build and maintain underground water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure networks.
