Centre Partners exits U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners
Centre Partners said April 2 that it sold U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners to Kohlberg & Co. Financial terms weren’t announced. U.S. Retirement provides benefits and retirement services to the K-12 education, government/municipal, and small- and mid-sized corporate marketplace. William Blair & Co acted as exclusive financial adviser and Dechert LLP acted as legal counsel to USRBP. UPDATE: Centre Partners made nearly 4x its money with the sale, a source said.
