Clean Urban Energy Names Bomrad CEO, President

Chicago-based Clean Urban Energy, a venture-backed energy storage and smart grid technology provider, has named Phil Bomrad to the post of president and chief operating officer. Bomrad previously led the energy services group for Siemens Industry Inc. Earlier in his career he worked at Tridium. Clean Urban Energy recently sealed a $7M financing round from Battery Ventures and Rho Ventures.
