Climbing from MBA to partner takes nine years: survey

Figure on it taking an average of nine years to go from getting your MBA degree, or having the equivalent in experience, to winning a coveted role as partner at a North American buyout and growth equity firm, according to the just-published 2014-2015 Holt-MM&K-Thomson Reuters North American PE/VC Compensation Report.
