Colony NorthStar changes its name to Colony Capital
Colony NorthStar, a real estate and investment management firm, will change its name to Colony Capital. As part of the name change, the company will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange but under the new ticker symbol "CLNY." Also, Colony NorthStar Credit Real Estate Inc, a commercial real estate credit REIT, will change its name to Colony Credit Real Estate; however its ticker will remain "CLNC." The name changes will become effective June 25, 2018.
