CPPIB buys into Toronto's Minto High Park Village for $105 mln
The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has bought a 60 percent ownership interest in Minto High Park Village, a multifamily rental property located in Toronto. CPPIB paid about $105 million to Minto Properties Inc for the stake. Minto will continue to own a 40 percent interest in the property. The Canadian pension fund manager said the acquisition represents its first direct investment in the domestic multifamily real estate sector.
