Crushpad Adds $2.7M

San Francisco-based bespoke winemaker Crushpad Inc., which partnered with Twitter to create the Fledgling Wine charity wine label, has closed on $2.7 million of a proposed $3.5 million financing, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Committee. Earlier this spring, the company announced that it had sealed a “major financing” deal that made Foley Family Wines “a principal investor” in Crushpad. Since closing on the money, Crushpad has expanded its operations and moved its headquarters to Sonoma, California. The company’s board includes individual investor Nicholas Davidge, who also acts as an advisor for Milestone Venture Partners; and Peter Engel, a managing Director of investment banking at JPMorgan.
