CSA Medical snags $16 mln in Series C funds
CSA Medical has secured $16 million in Series C financing. Ascension Ventures led the round with participation from SV Life Sciences, Intersouth Partners, First Analysis, Blue Heron Capital and Guide Medical Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Dr. Tara Butler, a managing director at Ascension Ventures, has been named to CSA Medical's board of directors. Headquartered in Lutherville, Maryland, CSA Medical is a provider of advanced spray cryotherapy technology that flash freezes unwanted tissue inside the body.
