CVC nears $1 bln buy of 25 pct stake in GEMS Education: Bloomberg

CVC Capital Partners is near a deal to buy 25 percent in Dubai’s GEMS Education, which is backed by Blackstone Group, Bloomberg reported. CVC may pay $1 billion for the stake, the story said.
