Data catalog company Alation Raises $50 mln in round led by Sapphire
Redwood City, California-based Alation Inc, provider of a data catalog company, announced it has raised $50 million in a Series C round led by Sapphire Ventures. Also participating in the funding in new investor Salesforce Ventures and existing investors Costanoa Ventures, DCVC, Harmony Partners and Icon Ventures. The company was founded in 2012 and previously raised more than $30 million in funding.
