Digital Networks leads $10m funding; Argos-Soditic takes majority stake in SAIME

Digital Networks leads $10m funding

Digital Networks, has led a $10m investment in JacobsRimell, a UK-based software company. The company was founded by David Jacobs and Phil Rimell who were previously responsible for developing and implementing Reuter’s global IT infrastructure. 

Digital Networks led this second round of financing with additional investment provided by previous investors Advent International and Fidelity Ventures. The investment will support the company’s expansion in Europe, Asia and America and provide the firm with financing for the company’s move into other broadband services sectors. Digital Networks' managing partner Nenad Marovac will join the JacobsRimell board.

Argos-Soditic takes majority stake in SAIME

French private equity firm Argos-Soditic has acquired a majority stake in SAIME Group, a manufacturer of individual respiratory equipment for use at home and in hospitals.

The size and price of the transaction has not been disclosed, although Argos-Soditic has confirmed that it has acquired a majority stake in the firm. The link up will enable SAIME to develop its latest range of respiratory systems as well as accelerate the company's growth. SAIME had a turnover of E15m in 2001.
