Nexit Ventures invests in Conformiq; Israeli VCs back Ceramic Technologies

Nexit Ventures invests in Conformiq

Finnish venture capital firm Nexit Ventures has announced that it has invested E1m in first-round funding in Conformiq Software, an automated software developer based in Finland. Artturi Tarjanne, general partner of Nexit Ventures, has been appointed chairman of Conformiq Software.

Nexit Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on next generation information and communication technology. Roughly one third of its E100m  fund is currently invested in Nordic and US companies.

Israeli VCs back Ceramic Technologies

Israeli technology venture capital company, Ophirtech, along with Clal Electronics Industries and Vertex Management Israel have invested $1.5m in Cerel (Ceramic Technologies). Pamot VC and Vertex have financed the company since its establishment and Pamot VC is expected to join the round with an additional investment.

Cerel develops its own unique technology for deposition of ceramic materials that can be used for manufacturing a wide range of industrial applications.
