Greystar beefs up investor relations team with new hires

Greystar Real Estate Partners has named Adam Pillay as senior managing director to lead the global investor relations team. Joining him are Claudius Weissbarth as managing director, responsible for European investor strategy and development and European and Middle Eastern institutional investor relationships; Michael Winiarski as senior director, and Jennifer Ciullo, director, responsible for North American institutional investor relationships.

Aldrich joins American Family Ventures

Andrew Aldrich has joined American Family Ventures as a principal, according to an email and Aldrich’s LinkedIn page. Aldrich was previously a director at AXA Equitable, his LinkedIn page said. His focus at American Family will remain insurance, fintech, IoT and Data, the email said.

Thaper joins Cairngorm Capital

Cairngorm Capital said April 24 that the firm has named Dr Amit Thaper an investment director. Thaper joined from H.I.G. Capital.

Stella Point Capital has promoted Robert Jahn to managing director. Jahn joined the New York-based private equity firm in 2012.

OTPP taps Tamara Finch to head private portfolio management

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has promoted Tamara Finch to managing director, portfolio management. Finch, who joined Ontario Teachers' in 2002, will in the new role head its private capital portfolio management group, which focuses on value creation, talent management, governance, portfolio construction, analytics and sharing of best practices. Finch currently works with several portfolio companies and sits on the boards of Baybridge Seniors Housing Inc and Exal Group. Ontario Teachers' also promoted Jeff Clark to managing director, business analysis and quality assurance.

Star Mountain recruits ex-NFL player as industry adviser

Star Mountain Capital LLC has appointed Isaiah Kacyvenski as an industry adviser. Kacyvenski is a former NFL player, having played with the Seattle Seahawks. Currently, Kacyvenski is the co-founder and managing director of the Sports Innovation Lab.

EnsembleIQ, a portfolio company of RFE Investment Partners, has hired Ronda Hughes as vice president of digital media. Previously, Hughes worked at UBM Americas. Based in Chicago, EnsembleIQ is a business-to-business media, information and research resource for the global retail industry.

Federated Investors expands senior leadership team for Asia-Pacific region

Federated Investors Inc has hired Bill Taki as CEO of Federated Investors Asia Pacific. Also, the investment manager has named Bill Mukai as managing director and head of Asia-Pacific client relationships while Hun Pil Yoe has become managing director for South Korea. Previously, Taki, Mukai and Yoe worked at Phoenix Global Capital Management.

Rockspring Capital names Kastel as IR director

Rockspring Capital has appointed Michael Kastel as director of investor relations. Previously, Kastel was account manager at Microbial Discovery Group.

PE-backed AIM Aerospace Corp hires SVP and chief operating officer

AIM Aerospace Corporation, a portfolio company of Liberty Hall Capital Partners, has named Patrick Russell as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Previously, Russell was was vice president of operation and supply chain management at Orbital ATK. AIM is a provider of composite ducting, structural and interior parts for the global aerospace industry.
