FIRSTavenue said Nov. 3 that Jess Larsen has joined as Partner and Head of Americas. Larsen was previously with Highland Capital Management where he served as Global Head of Institutional Sales.

RueOne Investments appoints Robert Wages to board of directors

Alternative asset manager RueOne Investments, LLC announced the appointment of Robert Wages to its board of directors. Wages, currently managing director of consulting firm Gazelle Capital Advisors, will also serve on the board's investment committee.

BCG beefs up principal investors and private equity practice with two hires

The Boston Consulting Group, the management consulting firm, has hired John Perkins and Christy Carter as partners and managing directors for its principal investors and private equity practice. Previously, Perkins was a managing director and head of the financial-sponsors practice at Houlihan Lokey while Carter worked at CCMP Capital Advisors.

Altamar appoints Martinez as MD

Altamar Capital Partners has hired Mónica Martínez as managing director for its global client solutions team. Her work background includes various senior roles at JP Morgan Asset Management in London.

Sterling Partners promotes two to MD

Sterling Partners has promoted Kim Vender Moffat and Michael Drai from principal to managing director. Moffat joined the firm in 1999 while Drai came on board in 2008.

PE-owned Telarix adds COO and chief revenue officer to team

Telarix Inc, which is owned by Vista Equity Partners, has named Rich Marano as chief operations officer and Dan Dooley as chief revenue officer. Previously, Marano was executive vice president of iconectiv while Dooley most recently served as president and chief operating officer at TruMobility. Virginia-based Telarix offers wholesale and partner solutions for communication service providers.

PE-backed AccessData Group names new CEO

AccessData Group, which is backed by Sorenson Capital, has appointed Victor Limongelli as CEO. He is the former CEO of Guidance Software. Lindon, Utah-based AccessData is a provider of integrated digital forensics and e-discovery software.

Radant joins Matrix Capital Markets Group

Matrix Capital Markets Group Inc said Nov. 1 that Robbie L. Radant has joined the firm as a Director in its Downstream Energy & Retail Group. Radant joins Matrix after working 28 years for 7-Eleven Inc, where he most recently was Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Franks jumps to KKR

KKR said Nov. 1 that Timothy R. Franks is joining the firm’s London office as a member, effective Feb. 1. Franks will lead coverage of the Consumer & Retail industries in Europe, Africa and Middle East as a member of the Private Equity team. Franks joins KKR from Advent International, where he was a partner, a European Investment Committee member and Head of the European Retail, Consumer & Leisure team.
