B. Riley promotes Moore to president

Investment bank B. Riley & Co LLC has promoted Andy Moore to president. Prior to joining B. Riley, Moore worked at Roth Capital Partners and Bear Stearns & Co. Moore first joined B. Riley in 2006.

PE-backed Caligor appoints new CFO/COO

Caligor, a portfolio company of Diversis Capital, has named Alex Shvartsburg as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Previously, Schvartzburg worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he served as vice president of finance of the genetic, medical and applied sciences division. Secaucus, New Jersey and UK-based Caligor provides clinical trial supply and logistics services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Symmetry Partners adds five to team

Symmetry Partners LLC has hired former Timothy Baker as director of product strategy. Previously, Baker worked at BlackRock. The investment adviser has also added Eric Krusiewicz as senior investment strategist; and Bob Matala, Michael Jordan and Nathaniel Poole as regional business consultants.

Kohn rejoins Park Madison Partners as an equity partner

Park Madison Partners has rehired Rob Kohn as an equity partner. Previously, Kohn worked at Akridge.

Atlantic Street Capital expands team with three new hires

Atlantic Street Capital has named George Parry and M. Kurt Lentz as principals and Sarah Robson as vice president of business development. Previously, Parry worked at Corinthian Capital Group where he was most recently a vice president while Lentz was a principal at Sun Capital Partners. And, prior to joining Atlantic Street, Robson was a director at Axial.

Platte River Equity adds three new hires

Platte River Equity said Sept. 13 that it hired three professionals. James “J.B.” Moore has joined as a vice president, while Tarun Kanthety and Brian Hopkin joined as new associates.

IFM Investors adds two business development directors

IFM Investors today has hired Joe Tremblay and Dan Kim as business development directors in North America. Previously, Tremblay worked at Talara Capital Management where he served as director of marketing while Kim is a former associate partner for Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting’s global private equity and infrastructure group.

CPPIB makes three new senior appointments

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has made three new senior executive appointments. Graeme Eadie has become senior managing director and global head of real assets; Shane Feeney is now senior managing director and global head of private investments; and Ryan Selwood has been named managing director and head of direct private equity. Eadie joined CPPIB in 2005, Feeney came on board in 2010 and Selwood joined in 2006.
