Monomoy acquires Kauffman Engineering

Monomoy Capital Partners has acquired Lebanon, Indiana-based Kauffman Engineering Inc, a maker of of highly-engineered wire harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems across the HVAC, commercial equipment, specialty vehicle, lawn care, marine, medical and other industrial markets. No financial terms were disclosed. KPMG Corporate Finance LLC provided financial advice to Kauffman Engineering on the deal while Faegre Baker Daniels LLP provided legal counsel.

ATC Drivetrain buys ATP

ATC Drivetrain said May 9 that it acquired ATP Automotive Transmission Remanufacturing Specialists Ltd, A.T.P. Electronic Developments Ltd and ATP Holdings USA LLC from ATP’s founder Alan Smart. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. ATP, of the U.K., is a remanufacturer of automatic transmissions, including torque converters and automated manual transmissions, electronics and mechatronics, as well as a maker of diagnostics systems and providing associated services. ATC is backed by Crestview Partners.

PE-backed Custom Glass Solutions acquires NASG

Custom Glass Solutions LLC, which is backed by Stellex Capital Management, has acquired Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania-based NASG, a specialty glass and window manufacturer. No financial terms were disclosed.

Center Rock invests in Signature Systems

Center Rock Capital Partners LP has made an investment in Flower Mound, Texas-based Signature Systems Group, a maker of composite ground protection products. No financial terms were disclosed.

H.I.G. Europe makes three acquisitions

H.I.G. Europe has acquired Cadica, Tessilgraf and Bernini. The newly acquired companies will form a trim and packaging manufacturer for the premium and ultra luxury fashion industry. No financial terms were disclosed. H.I.G. Europe is the European arm of H.I.G. Capital.

BGL recaps TAS Environmental Services

Blue Point Capital Partners has recapitalized Fort Worth, Texas-based TAS Environmental Services LP, a provider of environmental and industrial services. No financial terms were disclosed. Brown Gibbons Lang & Company was financial adviser to TAS on the deal. TAS Environmental Services LP is a portfolio company of TEAM Partners LLC.

Cerberus and TCW invest in Frontier Spinning

Cerberus and TCW made an investment in Sanford, North Carolina-based Frontier Spinning, a producer of cotton and cotton/polyester blend yarns for the knitting and weaving industries. No financial terms were disclosed.

PE-backed Tex Tech acquires Highland Industries' coating business and defense business

Tex Tech Industries, which is backed by Arlington Capital Partners, has acquired Highland Industries' coating business and defense-related operations. No financial terms were disclosed. The acquired businesses will be renamed Tex Tech Coatings.

PE-backed Continental Batteries makes two acquisitions

Continental Batteries, a portfolio company of Incline Equity Partners, has acquired Metroplex Battery and Ellis Battery, distributors of aftermarket batteries for the automotive, commercial, golf and marine markets. No financial terms were disclosed.

PE-backed Midwest Industrial Rubber buys ABCo

Midwest Industrial Rubber, a portfolio company of Incline Equity Partners, has acquired The Atlanta Belting Company, a specialty fabricator and distributor of lightweight conveyor belting and accessories. No financial terms were disclosed.
