Dow Chemical sells AgroFresh to Boulevard in $810 mln deal

Boulevard Acquisition Corp. has agreed to buy AgroFresh, the post-harvest specialty chemical business of The Dow Chemical Company. The deal is valued at $810 million. Dow will initially own about 40 percent of AgroFresh while Boulevard will have the rest. Boulevard is a blank-check company formed by Avenue Capital Group, Reuters News said.
