Edison Ventures and VentureLink Invest $7M in eSentire
Cambridge, Ontario-based eSentire Inc., a network security company that provides threat solutions for the hedge fund industry, has secured US$7 million from U.S. venture firm Edison Ventures and existing Canadian investor VentureLink Funds, which is managed by Toronto's VL Advisors. The proceeds will be used to increase the company's sales and marketing and expand product development to address markets beyond financial services.
