Ember Technologies gathers $8.5 mln

Ember Technologies, which can control the temperature of hot beverages, has secured $8.5 million in funding. The company's investor base includes entertainers Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas as well as former MLB pitcher Ted Lilly.
