Empathetics pulls in $1.5 mln

Boston-based empathy training company Empathetics Inc has secured $1.5 million in Series A funding. GDN Holdings LLC and Key Venture Partners LLC led the round. Concurrent with the funding, Nathaniel Opperman, president of Key Venture Partners, has been added to Empathetics' board of directors.
