Encore Seals $15M for Online Education
Online education company Encore Career Institute says that it has raised $15 million in Series A financing from InterWest Partners and Granite Ventures. The company, which is partnering with UCLA Extension to form a new online education venture, will focus on offering professional certificates and career counseling designed specifically for baby boomers transitioning to new careers or trying to stay viable in the current workforce, the company said.
