Exar Corp Completes Neterion Acquisition
Exar Corp. (Nasdaq: EXAR) has completed its previously-announced acquisition of Neterion, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of 10 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter solutions optimized for virtualized data centers. The deal was valued at between $10 million and $11 million. Neterion had raised around $65 million in VC funding, from Menlo Ventures, VenGrowth, BDC and JAFCO Ventures.
