Fandango agrees to buy MOVIECLIPS from VC-backed ZEFR
Fandango has inked an agreement to acquire MOVIECLIPS from ZEFR. No financial terms were disclosed. MOVIECLIPS is a YouTube network that encompasses a catalog of film clips, trailers and videos. Headquartered in Venice, Calif., ZEFR is a platform that builds social marketing and rights management software for online video. Its backers include Institutional Venture Partners, U.S. Venture Partners, Shasta Ventures, First Round Capital and Richmond Park Partners.
