Flagship Ventures launches Seres Health

Flagship VentureLabs, a unit of Flagship Ventures, has launched Seres Health after two years in stealth mode. During that period, Seres Health received $10.5 million in Series A financing from Flagship Ventures and various unnamed investors. Also, Seres Health has named Dr. Roger J. Pomerantz as chairman of its board of directors. Based in Cambridge, Mass., Seres Health is a clinical stage biotherapeutic company focused on developing drugs that target the human microbiome.
