Flat World Knowledge Secures $15 Million In Series B Funding
Flat World Knowledge secured $15 million in Series B funding. Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments and Bessemer Venture Partners led the financing. Several existing investors participated in the latest funding including Valhalla Partners, GSA Venture Partners (formerly Greenhill SAVP) and High Peaks Venture Partners. Several angel investors also took part. Flat World Knowledge is an Irvington, NY-based publisher of free and open college textbooks.
