The nominations for our eighth annual readers’ poll, The Private Equity International Awards 2008, have begun.
Will Apax retain its title as best European LBO firm? Is Baring Vostok still considered the best in Russia? Does Lexington Partners still lead the secondaries charge in North America? Will Advent International once again get the gong for Latin America?
You can help decide. Get voting now.
These are the industry’s only global awards which are decided entirely by the industry itself. There is no pre-selection. No editorial strings pulled. Simply a pure popular vote among private equity peers.

Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America
This nomination round closes on 31 December. The people and firms with the most nominations will then be placed on shortlists of five candidates per category – just like the Oscars – for the next and final round of voting, which will close at the end of January.
The final results will be published simultaneously on PrivateEquityOnline and in the Annual Review, our in-depth look at 2008, which will be printed at the end of February 2009 and released with the March issue of Private Equity International.
Winners will also have the chance to celebrate their success in grand style at a June soirée held at London’s spectacular Victoria and Albert museum.
Good luck, and get voting!
