FTC gives OK to Catalyst's buy of Advantage Rent A Car
Franchise Services of North America Inc (TSX Venture: FSN) announced that its application to sell Simply Wheelz LLC, which does business as leased vehicle fleet operator Advantage Rent A Car, to Canadian private equity firm Catalyst Capital Group has been approved by the Federal Trade Commission. The previously announced deal is expected to close before the end of March. Franchise Services, which has its Canadian head office in Calgary, acquired Advantage from Hertz Global Holdings Inc in 2012.
