Functional Neuromodulation Inc., a medical technology company, closed a $600,000 seed financing from Genesys Capital. Both companies are based in Toronto, Canada. Functional Neuromodulation was formed earlier this year to develop deep brain stimulationtherapies for Alzheimer’s disease and mild cognitive impairment. Genesys is a venture capital firms focused on the life sciences industry.
