General Atlantic provides $40 mln growth funding to Squarespace

General Atlantic has provided $40 million for a Series B funding round in Squarespace, an all-in-one website publishing and e-commerce platform. Anton Levy, managing director and head of Internet & Technology at General Atlantic, will join the company's board of directors. Squarespace raised $38.5 million from investors led by Index Ventures and Accel Partners in 2010.
