GenSight Biologics Adds $41.6M Series A

GenSight Biologics, a company focused on the development of ophthalmic therapeutics using gene therapy, has closed a 32 million euro ($41.6 million) Series A round. Novartis Venture Fund, Abingworth LLP, Versant Ventures and Index Ventures co-led the round. GenSight is based in Paris, on the campus of the Vision Institute.
