GGV Capital leads Series B round for Operator

Operator, a conversational commerce company, has raised $15 million in Series B financing. GGV Capital led the round with participation from Formation8, Morningside Ventures, Horizons Ventures, Greylock Partners and Expa. In conjunction with the funding, Hugo Barra, vice president of global operations at Xiaomi, has been added to Operator's board of directors while Hans Tung, managing partner at GGV Capital, will become a board observer.
