GM Ventures Puts $5M into Powermat
General Motors, through its GM Ventures unit, has invested $5 million in wireless charging start-up Powermat, Reuters reported. The company will also add Powermat’s technology for small consumer electronics to vehicles, such as the Chevy Volt hybrid, in 2012, Reuters said.
