Halogen Raises $50M in IPO, JMI Equity Sells Shares
Ottawa, Ontario's Halogen Software Inc., a provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, has completed its previously-announced initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange, raising just over $50 million under the symbol "HGN". At the same time, the company's U.S. venture capital investor JMI Equity sold shares in a secondary transaction, raising gross proceeds of approximately $5 million. Halogen has been venture-backed since 1999.
