Hamilton Lane expands London team

The global investment advisor has added Jim Strang, former head of fund investment at Dunedin Capital Partners, as a principal in London.

Hamilton Lane has hired Jim Strang as a principal in its London office.

Strang, who will be focused on European investment opportunities, was previously head of fund investment at UK-based private equity firm Dunedin Capital Partners, which he left at the end of March after more than two years at the firm. At Dunedin, Strang helped establish the firm’s European fund investment program.  Prior to working at Dunedin, he was head of European buyouts at Gartmore Private Equity, which he joined from Bain and Company, where he worked as a consultant.
