Boston-based Harken Capital Securities, a private equity placement and secondary advisory firm, has promoted Nick Hatch and Scott Holley to managing director.
Hatch first joined the company in 2012 and heads up the firm’s secondary advisory practice. That business provides solutions to institutional investors seeking to access opportunities in the private equity secondary market.
Holley has been with the firm since 2010 and focuses on fund placement for emerging managers. Holley has supported both top-off and full mandate fundraising efforts for a variety of fund strategies including buyout, growth, energy, healthcare, and other industry-focused private equity and venture capital firms.
As a placement agent, Harken has been involved with over $1.1 billion in aggregate final closes. The firm’s primary support goes to industry-focused private equity and venture capital firms in buyout, growth, energy and healthcare.
Harken has been involved with funds including TPH Partners II, Bison Capital Fund IV and Ampersand 2014 this year, according to Private Equity International’s research and analytics division.
Harken was co-founded by Don Nelson and Fred Malloy.
