High-Tech Gründerfonds has held a second and final close for Hightech Grunderfonds III at €316.5 million target size, exceeding its final target of €310 million. The fund is focused on high-tech startups located in Germany, but companies based outside of the country may also be considered in exceptional circumstances.
The fund’s investor base includes Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, KfW, Robert Bosch and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
