Hyliion pulls in $21 mln Series A

Pittsburgh-based Hyliion, an instant Class 8 vehicle hybridizing company, has raised $21 million in Series A funding. Axioma Ventures led the round. In addition to the funding, Howard Jenkins, managing director of Axioma, and Gideon Argov of New Era Ventures, will join Hyliion's board of directors.
