Illumina agrees to buy VC-backed NextBio
Illumina has agreed to acquire NextBio. No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of October. Based in Cupertino, Calif., NextBio, which is backed by Newbury Ventures, is a provider of clinical and genomic informatics.
