Infinite Power Solutions Raises $13 Million

Infinite Power Solutions Inc., a Golden, Colo.-based maker of thin-film batteries, has raised $13 million in Series B funding. D. E. Shaw Ventures and Polaris Venture Partners co-led the round, and were joined by fellow return backers Core Capital Partners, Applied Ventures and In-Q-Tel. The company previously raised $35.7 million.
