Inflexion raises £1bn

The London-based mid-market private equity firm closes two funds at hard-cap.

Inflexion has announced the final closes of Inflexion Enterprise Fund V and Inflexion Supplemental Fund V at their hard-caps of £400 million and £600 million respectively. Inflexion Enterprise Fund V is focused on the UK lower mid-market and plans to make investments of £10 million to £35 million, through minority and majority investments in businesses. Inflexion Supplemental Fund V will invest primarily alongside Inflexion Buyout Fund V and Inflexion Partnership Capital Fund II and will support the firm on larger investments.

The Illinois Municipal Retirement System has disclosed commitments to both funds – £20 million to Inflexion Enterprise Fund V and £50 million to Inflexion Supplemental Fund V. The rest of the capital came from other state pension funds, private pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds.
