Intel Capital adds four investment sectors, promotes three to managing director

Intel Capital added four new areas of technology for targeted investing, bringing to nine the technology sectors its partners follow. The venture arm of chipmaker Intel also promoted three investment managers to managing directors to run the new groups. The new groups are data center software, new devices and wearables, security, and ultrabooks and perceptual computing. The new managing directors are Rob Rueckert, Ken Elefant and Ramamurthy Sivakumar.
