Intel Capital expects to invest $355 mln this year

Intel Capital announced it invested $62 million in 16 companies pursing a range of products and technologies from wearable devices to drones to big data analytics. The investment arm of chipmaker Intel also said it expected its investments to total about $355 million this year, or slightly more than last year, when it invested $333 million in 146 deals.
