J.W. Childs sells WS Packaging to Platinum Equity

Platinum Equity has acquired Green Bay, Wisconsin-based WS Packaging Group, a provider of labels and packaging solutions for the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical markets. The seller was J.W. Childs Associates. No financial terms were disclosed. Barclays was financial adviser to WS Packaging Group on the deal.
