The Houston-based energy investor holds a final close of its third vehicle.

Houston-based energy investor Juniper Capital held a final close of its third flagship fund at a hard cap of $677.5 million.

Juniper Capital III will continue the firm’s strategy of investing in American lower mid-market oil and gas companies. Latham & Watkins served as counsel for the fundraise period.

The predecessor vehicle in the series, Juniper Capital II, closed in 2016 after raising $500 million.
