Kasisto nets $9.2 mln Series A

Kasisto, a conversational artificial intelligence platform provider, has raised $9.2 million in Series A funding. Propel Venture Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Mastercard, Commerce Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, DBS Bank, Partnership Fund for New York City, New York Angels and Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of New York. In addition to the funding, Thomas Whiteaker, a partner at Propel Venture Partners, has been added to Kasisto's board of directors.
