Kite Pharma Nets $15M Financing
Kite Pharma, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company developing active immunotherapies for cancer, has raised $15 million in a first round of financing. TPG Capital was among the company’s investors. As a result of the round, David Bonderman, a founding partner of TPG Capital, joined the company’s board. Riverbank Capital Securities Inc. acted as placement agent.
