KKR has announced the final closing of KKR Health Care Strategic Growth Fund II at $4 billion. The fund surpasses its predecessor, KKR Health Care Strategic Growth Fund I, which held its final closing in November 2017 on $1.45 billion in capital commitments.

KKR Health Care Strategic Growth Fund II has received commitments from new and existing investors globally, according to a recent press release. The fund is dedicated to healthcare growth equity investment opportunities, largely in North America and Europe.
