Language learning app Babbel rakes in $22 mln in SEP-led round
Language learning app Babbel has closed $22 million in funding. Scottish Equity Partners led the round with participation from return backers Reed Elsevier Ventures, Nokia Growth Partners and VC Fonds Technology Berlin managed by IBB Bet. In conjunction with the funding, Stuart Paterson, a partner at SEP, has been added to Babbel’s board of directors.
