Lionsgate buys majority of 3 Arts Entertainment
Lionsgate has acquired a majority of 3 Arts Entertainment. Financial terms weren’t announced. 3 Arts is an entertainment company and content provider. 3 Arts's TV shows including 30 Rock, The Office and Brooklyn Nine Nine. The deal was negotiated for Lionsgate by Television Group COO Laura Kennedy. The studio was represented by Robert Haymer of Latham & Watkins LLP. 3 Arts was advised by Moelis & Company LLC, Alan Epstein at Venable LLP and Craig Jacobson at Hansen, Jacobson.
